Our Company

Why Travel with TLC Tours?
TLC for most people means Tender Loving Care. Here at TLC Tours, The Leprechaun Companies, that acronym was specifically chosen as both a reflection of our company’s name as well as our mission to provide Tender Loving Care to all our passengers. Of course, seeing this mission through requires constant effort and participation on the part of our entire organization. With collective experience in excess of 100 years our staff is committed to planning, organizing and executing the best possible travel experience for all our valued clients.

Behind the Scenes
The process begins with selecting travel partners who will work with us in creating a truly memorable travel experience. While each destination is unique, hotels are selected to reflect the character of area. This can mean the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island or the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Attractions and knowledgeable local guides are utilized to bring out the most in your travel experience. Whether you’re out to immerse yourself in the history of our nation’s capital or take in the best shows and entertainment in Branson, TLC Tours takes the extra step to make the most of these experiences. Food is always an important element when traveling. On a TLC Tour you’ll feast on “lobstah” in Cape Cod, Cajun cuisine in New Orleans, or dine like an aristocrat of a bygone era at the Biltmore Estate.

On the Road
With all the final preparations complete, it is time to “hit the road.” Here is where our dedicated staff of Tour Directors takes over. With everything running smoothly and all the passengers immersed in their travel experience, it may seem as though the Tour Directors have a pretty easy job. Well, making everything look easy is the true art of a great Tour Director. No matter how well planned a trip is, there are untold number of eventualities waiting to snag even the best laid out plans. Anticipating potential problems and dealing with them ahead of time is just one of the many responsibilities of the Tour Directors. When you end your trip and all is well, you can be sure it is the result of hard work and attention to detail that is the hallmark of our Tour Directors.

Inclusive Vacations and Get-a-Ways
When you embark on a TLC Tour, you can be assured our pricing is inclusive. Many other tour companies may advertise “ teaser rates,” only to find that there are many add ons, such as airfares, port charges, and taxes. Here at TLC Tours we believe the best way to build customer loyalty is to offer inclusive vacations, with no surprises. This is just one reason our customers continue to come back year after year.

Here for the Long Haul
Here at TLC Tours we are entering our 30th year in business and our sister company Leprechaun Lines is entering its 75th year of operation. While longevity is not a predictor of future prosperity, it does show that we are fiscally responsible organizations that have weathered many changes in both economic and social environments. It is with this in mind that you should feel confident in traveling with us.
Our goal is to take all our valued clients to new destinations, on new adventures and to foster new friendships among you. We look forward to greeting you this year on one of our trips, and sharing the wonderful world of travel.

Our National Network
Another key to our success is the network of national alliances that we have built. Memberships in American Bus Association, Global Passenger Network, and International Alliance of Travel Agencies are some of the networks that help us keep up to the minute on everything that affects the industry. IMG, International Motorcoach Group, is a tremendously beneficial alliance of selected motorcoach carriers and tour companies throughout the nation. Selection to this organization is very limited and only through a rigorous review process. The operations represented by this organization represent many of the best and fiscally strong companies in the nation.
